The mission of the PACVTS has evolved since it was founded more than 20 years ago. Its present goal is to “Promote Scholarship, Innovation, and Leadership for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.” The leadership team and members aspire to emulate the Association’s core values of leadership, education, research and innovation, excellence in patient care, and mentoring.
